Stop 2: Shop Around Perry, NY

Next, make your way around Perry, a picturesque small town that’s full of charm and character. Its walkable downtown is lined with unique local shops, cute restaurants, and stunning murals.

Stop into Captivated Studios to admire (or bring home) stunning framed photography that highlights the natural beauty of the region. For stylish furniture, curated home goods, and one-of-a-kind finds, Eleven Covington is a must-visit. If you’re a book lover, don’t miss Act 4 Books. You’re bound to stumble across your next great read at this cozy bookshop. And be sure to pop into Bush Hill Florist. You’ll find more than just flowers! Stop 3: Explore Letchworth State Park

No trip to Wyoming County, New York, is complete without a stop at Letchworth State Park. Which, by the way, has been voted the best state park in New York! Once you visit yourself, you will absolutely understand why!

The park stretches for more than 14,000 acres. It’s home to dramatic cliffs, lush forests, and the winding Genesee River. The real showstoppers, though, are its three major waterfalls—Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls—each offering jaw-dropping views. There are over 60 miles of hiking trails ranging from easy walks to more challenging treks. So each visitor can choose their own adventure.

If you’d rather take in the scenery at a slower pace, there are scenic overlooks throughout the park that make it easy to enjoy the sweeping views without much walking. For something extra memorable, you can even book a hot air balloon ride over the gorge at sunset.

By this point in your day, it’s time to settle into your accommodations. For a stay that’s truly unique and immersed in nature, Silverlaken is an ideal choice. Kick off day two in Wyoming County with breakfast at 49 Coffee House in Arcade. This charming café is known for its welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a menu full of delicious options to start your day right.

From freshly brewed coffee and lattes to hearty breakfast sandwiches, pastries, and light bites, there’s something for everyone. Their breakfast bowls and daily specials are also worth checking out if you want something a little different.

Stop 2: Explore the Arcade & Attica Railroad

Just steps from 49 Coffee House is the Arcade & Attica Railroad, a historic attraction that has been operating since 1917. This charming heritage railroad offers a variety of rides that let visitors experience the scenic countryside in a truly unique way.

After exploring Arcade, treat yourself to something sweet at Laura’s Cakes and More, a charming bakery located at 249 Main Street. Opened in early 2025, this cozy spot specializes in gluten-free and allergen-friendly baked goods, so everyone can indulge in a delicious treat.
